The Photographs
I became interested in photography when I took it in College. We were still using the dark room in those days. I have been the official photographer for the International Buskers, Kite and Chalk Art Festivals in Victoria B.C. from 2010 to 2017. I love to find a perfectly unstaged street scene no matter where I am. I enjoy the pageantry of a wedding and because of a bit of history with theatre and costumes I have always had an interest in Vintage portrait photography.
The Paintings
Painting is a very natural thing for me to be interested in. My family paints. I have had this burning desire to mix colours since childhood and have explored it with watercolours, oils and acrylics. I paint portraits and the landscapes of the Sunshine Coast. I show my work at the Dancing Tree Gallery in Powell River, Tug- Guhm Gallery in Lund, and in my home studio, a 1930's Heritage House I call Ramble House Studio.
